So tomorrow Night will be a blast at Paradise Park! Peachcake a synth-pop dance band from Arizona have been on Tour for awhile and are sticking around Austin for a bit longer. These guys definately know how to party, just check out their MYSPACE and their Peachcake Website for videos! Show starts at 11ish as always.
So come out tomorrow it's FREE and of course I will be Djing all night long.

This week is is TRAN TRAM>TRANTRAMmyspace>
If you guys live here in Austin, you know that these guys love to Party. So of course I had to have them play Paradise Park. Also if you don't know, TRAN TRAM have an ongoing RIVALRY with CRY BLOOD APACHE. It has been a long bitter war of FISTS, DRUNKNESS, DRUGS, and SEX!
Its been a battle of the PARTY BANDS, who will win? Rumors have it CBA are planning to rough up Tran Tram during their show on Tuesday@ Paradise Park. So I have hired extra security, but from what I heard Tran Tram are all packing you know what! Maybe they won't need the extra security. We will see what goes down Tuesday Night!

So Myspace is now the #1 Most visited site in the U.S. beating out google and other popular search engines! So im guessing Myspace is going to stick around longer than past Networking sites.
...Texas left back to NYC, it was great seeing her around Austin. She made me miss NYC, and speaking of NYC I'm trying my best to get up there in two weeks, I got offered a couple of DJ gigs while im up there and tonight Paul(The guy who started Beauty Bar) told me tonight he will give a night at the BeautyBar in NYC while im up there to throw a party with my friends up there. Pretty neat stuff. So things look up for DJing.
.....I hate being so hard on myself all the time, I strive for perfection in the things I care about most. It keeps me up late and into early mornings pondering random thoughts. Like right now im thinking about school and what im doing this next semester. Then on the lighter side, I am thinking about how bad I want a cat! I want a little buddy to hang out with and be my bud when no one is around. Ellison also wants a cat and wants to name him/her "Professor" . I wouldn't mind a pet Monkey also, but I heard sometimes they can be little bitches and will throw their own poop at you. I just want one to give me high fives and play a drum for me and kick with me while I watch COPS.
..... I had the most amazing night on Saturday. Me and Miss Shannon went out Saturday night. I had some plans like go to EMOS and watch Soundteam and head to Beauty Bar to watch Cut Chemist. We ended up doing both but then me and shannon were feeling adventurous! We both decided to head out to Mt. Bonell at 3am, we ended up driving around for like 30 minutes on the wrong side of Mt. Bonell Rd. SO 3:30am rolls around and we finally find the staircase to the peak of Mt. Bonell. We made the climb up the 100 stairs and kept joking about how easy it would be to murder us up there, since no one was around(Ya we are both a couple of Weirdos). When we got to the top, it was incredible! We were both so happy to be on top of the world/Austin, Texas ha. It was a full moon, and we had the blinking Red Towers on the west side of MT Bonell which reminded me of Lost in Translation and right below us was the lake. To the East was the city all lit up, it was perfect. It was one of those moments you spend with someone you will continue to remember forever. Sounds cheesy but its the damn truth, it was romantic. It definately put anything I had been down about or stressing about disappear into the night. That experience reminded me how great life really is and while we were up there, we mention driving to Marfa, Texas to catch the Marfa Lights together. Well lets say, I was about to quit Diesel so I could catch the Marfa Lights with Shannon. I was about a heartbeat away from calling in the next morning to DIesel, but my conscious got in the way. I do work with friends, so im saving that adventure for another late night. Fast foward to today I'm still up after my DJ gig Tuesday Night its 6:30am and im streaming into a weird limbo.
I almost want to go on a bike ride right now and enjoy that morning smell, but I know I would just eat shit once my body decides to shut down in mid-pedal. Ok, my brain just stalled out, so I think its time to go into R.E.M. |

So I haven't actually written in this journal in a long time, so here I go... Its 5:15am and most of you know I DJ here in Ausitn Tuesday night. Well it was a bad one for me since it wasn't as crazy as I wanted it to be. It usually is pretty damn good, but for some reason I couldn't bare the fact of a bad Tuesday night. I hate having a bad night, it makes me so much more motivated to make things better next week. I mean for a Tuesday anywhere it was still good, I just got spoiled with the fact that it has been so good. Plus I always want the intensity to be so much higher than is possible unless its SXSW or ACL time here in Austin. So maybe I should lower my expectations or not drink myself silly to a point where I'm way more intense then everyone else was. My buddies at Uchi sauced me up with Tequilla shots and other assortments of shots along with a few other drinks I crushed in a few minutes. I get super crazy when I drink Tequilla, I always end up going balls to the wall. I get angry and would probably fight, eventhough I never want to fight. Now its past 5am and I can't sleep because im coming down and feeling depress. I hate it. I just want to fall asleep, I want to restart myself tommorow and forget about yesterday. Geez I hate drinking sometimes, Im glad I only drink twice a week for the most part.
moving on...
I have been in houston the past two weekends.. good and bad times.
For the most part it was ok, I had a great time seeing my brother and Dad for fathers day. My brother Michael bought us all really really great seats for the game, my father was definately so happy. It means so much for me to hang out with my dad now, hes been so sick the last year or so. I just can't imagine life without him.
The Astros ended up losing but it was still just wonderful to be out with my brother and father. Doing something we have always enjoy doing together.
I tried to go out in houston last weekend it was pretty damn horrible, definately hit or miss there on weekends. This past Saturday was great, I was at MSTRKRFT at A38. The Boys and Girls Club crew definately made me feel at home. Even though I didn't really know anyone there, they made it an effort to introduce me to everyone.
CHROMEO is next weeken but I am so broke now from two weekends in a row in Houston. So I might have to cancell that trip after all. Gas killed me 160$ on gas alone for two weekends. On top of that eating out and drinking out in Houston killed my bank account.
Other news-
I moved into a new house off of 51 street with Ellison, Megan, and Kerry is moving in this week. Its a pretty sweet house, to bad my roomates are lame-o's ;).
I need a vacation!
Tom Delay moved out of Sugarland to Vermont? smooth move to keep the Rep. Seat.
My hair is the longest it has ever been in my life.
Im ready for Fall.
Im ready for this mood im in right now to leave. I literally feel myself wanting to Die so I don't have to feel this way. I just have to get through a few more hours and then im home free. I like home im basically talking to myself right now and hear myself speaking in my head as I type this. Its kinda weird and depressing. I feel like Jim Carey in Eternal Sunshine, that feeling of fustration, being lost and trying to find a solution.
I have a new crush, its pretty cool.

Starting NEXT---next Tuesday....."Paradise Park" my weekly party I will be hosting &Djing every Tuesday begins. I am excited to finally take charge of something that Austin has been missing, and its perfect timing for the summer. Plus Ellison just moved back yesterday! Hopefully Shanny and all of Houston can come up and dance like it's 2002 Austin again!. This party will have a photographer every week and special guest DJs all summer long and crazy themes! PREPARE TO DIE IN PARADISE PARK!
